Allison 1000 6 Speed Internal Wire Harness | 2006-2010
The Allison 1000 6 Speed Internal Wire Harness fits 2006-2010 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD trucks with the LLY, LBZ and LMM 6.6L Duramax diesel and the 6-speed Allison 1000 transmission. This is the harness that connects to the solenoids on the transmission valve body. It is accessible and replaceable by removing the fluid pan, so the transmission does not have to come out of the truck.
The small wires in the Allison internal harness can break down over time. A failing harness can cause shift range errors or erratic transmission operation.

- Drain the fluid and remove the transmission pan to reach the harness.
- Install a new Allison 1000 Transmission Pan Gasket when you reinstall the pan.
- Make sure every solenoid connector is fully seated before installing the pan.
