Replacing the CP3 injection pump on a 2004.5–2005 LLY Duramax means removing the intake tube and Y-bridge, the thermostat housing crossover and the coolant bypass pipes, and disconnecting the pump's fuel hoses. Every gasket and seal you disturb along the way should be replaced.
