Duramax Thermostat Kit, Front and Rear | 2001-2010
If your Duramax diesel truck isn't heating up or is overheating, you could have a stuck thermostat. Over time, thermostats can stick open or closed, causing heating or cooling issues. The Merchant Automotive Engine Coolant Thermostat Kit fits 2001-2010 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD trucks with the LB7, LLY, LBZ and LMM 6.6L Duramax diesel. It includes a front and rear thermostat along with the oil fill tube seal and upper radiator pipe seal to complete the install.
The Duramax uses two thermostats in one housing.
