Merchant Automotive High Performance Motor Mounts, Duramax | 2011 - 2016
Stock motor mounts on 6.6L Duramax trucks can struggle under high stress conditions, often leading to excessive movement, tearing or failure. That lets the engine shift and can damage other components. Merchant Automotive High Performance Motor Mounts are engineered and built in house by Merchant Automotive in Holland, Michigan, as part of our focus on the Duramax and Allison platforms. They are made from welded plate steel with polyurethane bushings and are designed for higher horsepower and demanding use. This version fits 2011-2016 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD trucks with the 6.6L LML Duramax diesel.
Will these make my truck vibrate more? Some increase in vibration at idle is normal with a performance mount. It smooths out once the engine is above idle RPM.
