Description
PPE Cast Aluminum Transmission Pan – Allison 1000/2000/2400 Upgrade from the stock stamped-steel transmission pan to the PPE Heavy-Duty Cast Aluminum Deep Transmission Pan for complete drainage, improved durability, enhanced cooling, and superior transmission protection. The stock fluid pan has limited capacity, providing little thermal buffering, and its thin sheet metal construction lacks the strength needed for road debris/obstacles. In addition, the stock drain nut protrudes above the bottom of the transmission pan, trapping over 1 quart of old fluid. This retained fluid, filled with metal shavings, mixes with the fresh fluid immediately, accelerating wear on transmission components. KEE
