The Merchant Automotive Allison 10-Speed PTO Cover to Engine Stand Adapter lets you mount an Allison 10L1000 10-speed transmission on a standard engine stand for teardown, rebuild and inspection. The adapter bolts to the transmission at the PTO cover opening and mounts to your engine stand's head. It securely supports the transmission and lets you rotate it to any position, so you can work on the valve body, clutch packs and rear section at a comfortable height without wrestling the case on a bench or the floor.
Will this fit my 6-speed Allison 1000? No. This adapter is made only for the Allison 10L1000 10-speed transmission used on 2020 and newer Duramax trucks. It does not fit the 5-speed or 6-speed Allison 1000.
