The Merchant Automotive Glow Plug Delete Kit replaces all 8 glow plugs on 2001-2005 LB7 and LLY 6.6L Duramax engines with solid stainless steel plugs. Each delete threads into the glow plug bore and seals it, so there is no glow plug to swell, break off or fail. This kit is intended for race and off road applications only, and tuning is required to disable the glow plug system.
Do I need tuning? Yes. Tuning is required to disable the glow plug system and prevent fault codes.
