Merchant Automotive Allison Deep Filter Lock | 2001-2019 — 10690
The Merchant Automotive Deep Filter Lock holds the internal filter securely in place on Allison 1000 transmissions with the Allison brand deep pan. It fits 2001-2019 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD trucks with the 6.6L Duramax diesel (LB7, LLY, LBZ, LMM, LML and L5P). By keeping the filter seated, it helps reduce cavitation caused by a poor seal at the filter and prevents accidental filter fallout.
The filter lock is redesigned to fit both the old ( 29537966 ) and new ( 29542824 ) style Allison deep pan filters. It is engineered and built in house by Merchant Automotive in Holland, Michigan, as part of our focus on the Duramax and Allison platforms.
